HOMMAGE - the story of “La Ruche”
HOMMAGE written by Maor zaguri tells the story of the artists commune “La Ruche” that operated in the early 20th century in Paris, France, where the best painters and sculptors lived and created.
The play brings to life the commune on all its layers and colors, and tells the story of eleven characters.
The various stories are intertwined, and the play, divided into four seasons, slowly reveals the social rifts, the hidden loves, the disappointments, desires and dreams of well known artists such as: Modigliani, Chaïm Soutine, Gertrude Stein, Josephine Baker and more. This show was preformed in Paris at the Jeune Théâtre National.
